The story
It began at a bus stop.
Fragments of shattered shelter glass, part of the everyday city, became the starting point for Catherine Sutherland’s jewellery collection.

From the street to the studio.
Glass recovered rather than discarded. Catherine pairs its broken, irregular surface with recycled sterling silver, allowing the material to retain its raw character.
The result is a collection of sculptural objects made to be worn: familiar city material, seen differently.
